New Gear: Cold Steel's Natchez Bowie in 3V

Cold Steel, maker of purpose-built knives and blade tools, has announced the introduction of the Natchez Bowie in 3V.

The Natchez Bowie in 3V is a robust bowie pattern knife with a 17-inch overall length and sweeping 11.5-inch clip point blade.

Expertly balanced and with just the right heft for chopping and slicing with precise authority, this knife is blends artful design with no-holds-barred function and ruggedness.

The blade is manufactured from the Crucible Particle Metallurgy process (CPM-3V) to ensure maximum toughness and chip resistance.

The G10 handle offers an ergonomically contoured grip, polished double quillon guard, bolster, and pommel. The elegant blade is inspired from the infamous 19th century "Under-The-Hill" landing below the Natchez Bluffs, and hearkens to the America's rough-and-tumble days and to its namesake frontier fighter.
