Shimano fans are surely aware of the Compre series of rods. Considered a high-quality, budget-friendly, and species-specific rod, the Compre series has offerings for everything from walleyes to muskies. In 2026, the Compre Walleye series of spinning rods is receiving a facelift. Several component upgrades have changed the Compre Walleye series for the better, while sticking to the same $99.99 price point.
