Few people realize that Maryland consistently ranks in the top 20 of states to produce Pope & Young record book whitetails. It also ranks in the top three in the number of harvests per hunter in an average year. With an estimated whitetail population of about a quarter million deer, this sleeper state should impress once again in 2015.
